Mental Health Outpatient Treatment Programs

Outpatient Programs

Our outpatient programs offer support to those who need an immediate and intense treatment plan, but with the ability to return home at the end of the day. Our programs may be entered into directly or may be offered as a transition following inpatient treatment prior to going back to a less frequently visited traditional outpatient provider. Outpatient treatment may consist of outpatient PHP (Partial Hospitalization) or outpatient IOP (Intensive Outpatient) programs. Outpatient treatment is offered at our main location as well as at our east outpatient clinics. Se habla español.

Outpatient Treatment Programs at El Paso Behavioral Health System

  • Adult Outpatient Treatment
    • Outpatient care is individualized, planned just for our adult patients. Psychiatrists, licensed therapists and registered nurses will all work together on your care team. You’ll see a psychiatrist weekly to help you manage medications and make real progress. Our comprehensive discharge planning will smooth your path to the next level of care.
  • Chemical Dependency Outpatient Treatment
    • For people who want to overcome the problems alcohol or other drugs are causing in their lives, we offer an evidence-based 12-step model. We focus on identifying, developing and practicing lifestyle changes necessary for staying free of drugs and alcohol.
  • Children and Adolescent Outpatient Treatment
    • We help young people ages 5 to 17—as well as their families—learn to cope with behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, substance abuse and other mental health challenges. Outpatient care is individualized, planned just for your child or teen.
  • Outpatient ECT Treatment (Electroconvulsive Therapy)
    • We are very pleased to provide an outpatient Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) suite located within our facility at the main location. Most of the time patients will receive treatments during inpatient treatment, though our suite also accommodates appropriate candidates attending our outpatient services.
  • Seniors Outpatient Treatment
    • Outpatient care is individualized, planned just for you. Psychiatrists, licensed therapists and registered nurses will all work together on your care team. You’ll see a psychiatrist weekly to help you manage medications and make real progress. Senior outpatient treatment is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at our main campus.
  • Women’s Outpatient Treatment
    • A women-only setting creates a secure, nurturing environment, giving women the chance to process intimate and highly personal issues. Our licensed therapists use evidence-based curricula to address women’s specific needs. Women’s Outpatient Treatment is offered Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at our main campus and eastside outpatient center.
